Liturgy Bot
Effective date: 23 March 2026
Liturgy Bot is a private automated service that generates a weekly Children's Liturgy of the Word document for a single Catholic parish in the Diocese of Westminster. It is developed and operated independently. It is not a commercial product and is not available to the general public.
This service is used by two volunteer catechists at the parish and the developer who maintains it. There are no other users. Access is not offered to external parties.
Each Saturday, the service automatically fetches publicly available liturgical readings from diocesan websites, generates a formatted Word document with age-appropriate content for children, and emails the document to the two catechists. The catechists may edit the document before use.
Liturgy Bot uses Brevo (SMTP relay) to send emails and the Dropbox API to archive documents. It does not access any other external services beyond the diocesan websites from which it fetches publicly available liturgical readings.
This service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The developer makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. The generated documents are intended as a starting point and should be reviewed by the catechists before use.
The developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this service. This includes but is not limited to errors in generated content, service interruptions, or email delivery failures.
